2. Information You Provide to Us
Cherry Sum does not currently require account registration, creation of a public profile, submission of a username, or provision of personal information during normal gameplay.

- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for us to handle your request.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Cherry Sum stores certain game information locally on your device or within storage made available to the app.
Locally stored information may include:

- Numbers entered into a puzzle;
- Remaining lives;

This information is used to:

We do not currently operate an independent user-account system or developer-controlled cloud-save system for Cherry Sum.

We cannot guarantee that locally stored data can be recovered, restored, or transferred to another device.
4. Information Processed Through Advertising
Cherry Sum uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Advertisements may include:
- Interstitial advertisements;
- Rewarded video advertisements; and
- Other advertisement formats supported by the advertising provider.
Rewarded advertisements may be offered when you:
- Request an in-game hint; or
- Choose to revive with one remaining life after a Game Over.
When advertisements are requested, displayed, viewed, clicked, skipped, or completed, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect or process information such as:
- Device identifiers;
- Advertising identifiers, where available and permitted;
- App instance identifiers;
- IP address;
- Approximate location, such as country or general region;
- Device model;
- Operating system and version;
- App version;
- Device language;
- Network and connection information;
- Advertisement request information;
- Advertisement impression information;
- Advertisement click or interaction information;
- Whether a rewarded advertisement was completed;
- Fraud-prevention and security signals;
- Diagnostic information; and
- Other technical information necessary to provide and measure advertisements.
The precise information processed may depend on:
- Your device;
- Your operating system;
- Your geographic region;
- Your privacy choices;
- Your advertising settings;
- Whether tracking permission has been granted;
- The configuration of the advertising service; and
- The advertising provider’s current practices.
Google and its advertising partners process this information under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Personalized and Non-Personalized Advertising
Depending on your location, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, contextual, or limited.
Personalized advertisements may use information about activity, interests, identifiers, or prior interactions to select advertisements that may be more relevant to you.
Non-personalized advertisements are not selected based on a profile of your past behavior, but may still use contextual information, approximate location, device information, frequency controls, security information, or similar data.
Where legally required, you may be shown a consent or privacy message before certain advertising information is processed.
If you refuse or withdraw consent, you may still receive non-personalized, contextual, or limited advertisements.
Advertisement availability is not guaranteed, regardless of your privacy choices.
6. App Tracking Transparency on Apple Devices
On supported Apple devices, the app or advertising services may request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the device’s advertising identifier or engaging in tracking as defined by Apple.
You may allow or refuse this permission.
Refusing tracking permission will not prevent you from using the core puzzle-game features of Cherry Sum.
You can review or change tracking permissions through your Apple device settings.
Even when tracking permission is denied, advertisements may still be displayed, but they may be non-personalized, contextual, or less relevant.
7. Android Advertising Controls
On Android devices, Google Play services may provide an advertising identifier that can be reset or deleted by the user.
Depending on your Android version and regional settings, you may be able to:
- Reset your advertising identifier;
- Delete your advertising identifier;
- Disable advertising personalization; or
- Change other advertising and privacy preferences.
You can manage these options through your Android device or Google settings.
8. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
During normal gameplay, Cherry Sum is not designed to require or directly collect:
- Your real name;
- Your postal address;
- Your telephone number;
- Account login credentials;

- Photos or media files;
- Health information;
- Biometric information;
- Government-issued identification numbers;
- Payment-card details;

- Social-network information.
Cherry Sum currently does not include:

- Public profiles;
- Online rankings;
- Multiplayer features;
- Chat;
- Image uploads;
- Camera features;
- Social posting;

This does not prevent third-party platform or advertising services from processing information as described in this Privacy Policy and their own policies.
9. No In-App Purchases
Cherry Sum does not currently offer:
- In-app purchases;
- Paid virtual items;
- Paid subscriptions;
- Paid advertisement removal; or
- Other paid digital features.
Accordingly, we do not directly receive or store payment-card or bank-account information through Cherry Sum.

11. How Information May Be Shared
We do not sell your personal information directly for money.
Information may be disclosed or processed in the following circumstances.
11.1 Advertising Providers
Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process device, identifier, technical, approximate-location, and advertisement-interaction information to:
- Deliver advertisements;
- Provide rewarded advertisements;
- Measure advertisement performance;
- Limit advertisement frequency;
- Detect fraud or invalid traffic;
- Maintain advertising security; and
- Provide personalized, non-personalized, contextual, or limited advertisements.
Under certain privacy laws, disclosure of identifiers or advertising-related information for personalized or targeted advertising may be legally defined as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” even when no money is paid in exchange for the information.

Information may be processed by Apple, Google, device manufacturers, operating-system providers, or app stores in connection with:
- App distribution;
- App installation;
- App updates;

11.3 Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law;
- Respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or public authorities;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of users, third parties, or us;
- Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Use;

11.4 Business Transfer
If the app or related business is transferred, reorganized, merged, or succeeded by another operator, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
12. International Data Transfers
Google AdMob, app stores, platform providers, and their service providers may process information in countries or regions outside your country of residence.
Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws in your jurisdiction.
Third-party providers are responsible for using legally required safeguards for international transfers under their respective privacy practices and obligations.
13. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information may be processed on one or more of the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to provide the Services you request;
- Legitimate interests: including operation, security, fraud prevention, support, and improvement of the Services;
- Consent: including consent for certain advertising, local-storage, or tracking activities where required;
- Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law; and
- Protection of rights and safety: where necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Services.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent through available device, app, platform, or consent settings.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
14. Data Retention
14.1 Local Game Data
Local game data generally remains on your device until it is:
- Deleted by you;
- Cleared through device or app settings;
- Removed when the app is uninstalled;
- Replaced through normal gameplay;
- Removed during an update or reset; or
- Lost due to device or software failure.
14.2 Support Communications
If you contact us, we may retain your inquiry and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to you;
- Handle follow-up requests;
- Investigate bugs;
- Prevent abuse;
- Maintain appropriate records; or
- Comply with legal obligations.
14.3 Advertising Information
Advertising providers determine their own retention periods under their respective privacy policies, legal obligations, and operational requirements.
We do not control the retention periods used by third-party advertising providers.
15. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information that we directly receive, such as support emails, from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no electronic storage, device, network, email system, or internet transmission method is completely secure.
We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of:
- Your device;
- Your operating-system account;
- Your Apple or Google account;
- Your email account; and
- Any backup or synchronization service you use.
16. Children’s Privacy
Cherry Sum is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under the minimum age at which personal information may lawfully be processed without parental consent in the applicable jurisdiction.
If you are a minor, you should use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly request personal information from children during normal gameplay.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child has sent personal information to us without appropriate permission, please contact us.
If we learn that we have directly collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise appropriately handle that information.
Where required by law, advertising services may restrict personalized advertising for children or users of unknown age.

You can generally delete local game data by clearing the app’s storage or deleting the app.
Requests relating to information processed independently by Google, Apple, Google Play, or other third parties may need to be submitted directly to the relevant provider.
To make a request concerning information that we directly hold, contact us using the details in Section 23.

Disabling certain settings may affect advertisement relevance, advertisement availability, rewarded-ad functionality, or other features.
Core puzzle gameplay does not require you to grant precise-location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo-library access.
19. Additional Information for Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
